Meet Our Founder
José Luis Flórez, Ph.D.
Managing Partner & Founder
I am a mathematician and Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence with over 25 years of experience developing advanced machine learning methodologies, algorithms, products and ventures.
I began my career at SAS, a pioneer in machine learning in the '90s. That experience led me to found Neo Metrics, a European leader in advanced analytics and top performer in the KDD Cup 2007. Neo Metrics was acquired by Accenture, where I became Global Director of Data Science. I later launched Touchvie, an AI platform that made watching TV an interactive experience, and then founded Dive, a company with proprietary technology in computer vision and generative AI.
Throughout this journey, I’ve had the privilege of being an active contributor to the evolution of Artificial Intelligence to improve processes, empower individuals, and enhance organizations.
The creation of Halioooo is the natural outcome of that journey to turn powerful ideas into impactful companies that solve meaningful problems.

Ana is an expert in foreign investment currently serving as the Head of Strategic Projects at Envision Group, a global leader in green technology. Previously she held the role of Senior Advisor on Economic Affairs at the Prime Minister's Office in Spain. She has worked across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa, as a staff for multilateral institutions and private companies.

Francisco, a prominent AI researcher, is Professor of Computer Sciences & Artificial Intelligence at University of Granada and won Spain’s National Award in Computer Science. At Adia Lab, he drives cutting-edge AI and data science.
